DAB Music Performance Contract - General Information

  • Note: Musicians begin playing the prelude one half hour before the beginning of the ceremony.

    • Terms and Conditions

  • 1. Attire will be formal black unless otherwise specified.
  • 2. A detailed map or directions to the place of engagement must be provided to the musicians at least two weeks prior to the event.
  • 3. It is understood that some musical instruments, particularly string instruments, are extremely valuable and are susceptible to damage when exposed to certain climatic variations, such as rain, direct sunlight and temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore the performers must be provided with shelter from rain and direct sunlight and that the temperature must be at least 60degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 4. The musicians will be afforded a ten minute break for every hour played.
  • 5. If your wedding starts more than 30 minutes late, overtime will be billed at the rate of $50.00 per half-hour.
  • 6. A non-refundable 50% deposit is due with this contract and the balance is due two weeks prior to the event.
  • 7. If due to vehicular accident, severe weather, or medical emergency DAB Music is unable to attend an event, the aforementioned payments will be refunded and DAB Music will not be liable for any damages resulting from this failure to perform.
  • 8. If members of DAB Music are unable to play an event, substitute musicians will take their place for that event.
  • 9.The provisions of this agreement are severable and if any one or more is or is determined to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, in whole or in part, the remaining provisions and any partially enforceable provisions, to the extent enforceable shall nevertheless be binding and enforceable.

  • Because of obligations to other clients, we may not be able to stay longer than the time specified on your contract.
